Jorentia van Rhyn is a Cape Town-based goldsmith and jewellery maker who creates small-batch, handcrafted pieces from her home studio. Using the art of wax casting, she casts each design using the lost wax method in sterling silver, brass or gold, a process that ensures no two pieces are ever quite identical.
The botanical collection takes this one step further. Jorentia forages fynbos, wildflowers, leaves and seeds from the South African landscape, working only with what nature offers, and never taking more than she needs. These pieces are preserved in resin, locking a moment of the Cape in something you can wear forever.
RHYN is named after Jorentia's own surname, because every piece is personal. Each item is released in limited runs, made with intention, and designed to last.
